TougeCon Drives are curated half-day events that highlight some of our favorite roads in the area. Lead by our talented staff drivers, you'll get to experience the area's technical and scenic roads. For 2023, we've added 2 more routes to the roster! If you drove with us at TougeCon 2022, Route 1 will be familiar because it's our "OG" route. Feel free to run it back this year, or try one of the new routes! If this is your first year, we encourage you to pick Route 1 since it is a staple of the TougeCon experience. You can choose to drive solo, or bring a passenger along for the ride!

Route 1 - Pig Trail Drive ("OG" Route) [130miles]

The Pig Trail Drive is the original recipe TougeCon drive, with all the spiciness you would expect. Blind corners, elevation change, and scenic views are served up at a decent pace with an amazing burger stop at the end. Halfway along the drive, you will drop into the Mulberry River valley with rock walls and smooth pavement setting the JDM vibe. Featuring Oark General store and Cafe as our destination, grab a great burger and check out the hundreds of stickers on their doors and windows from sports car and motorcycle groups visiting here annually from across the country to enjoy driving on these incredible roads. And don’t leave without grabbing a slice of their famous pie!

Route 2 - The Devil's Den Drive [170miles]

The Devil’s Den Drive drops you into an amazing valley and Arkansas State Park. This route covers country fields to deep forests and mountain tops. An Arkansas icon, Devil’s Den nestled in Lee Creek Valley was selected as a state park site in the 1930s. The Civilian Conservation Corps used native materials to build the park’s rustic-style wood and stone structures that mirror the surrounding natural beauty. Here we will eat at the Ridgerunner cafe in the park. An impressive rock dam spans Lee Creek forming Lake Devil, an 8-acre lake. Scenic views and technical driving abound as you tackle the consecutive hairpins leaving the park. Try not to spill your tofu as you climb Mt. Gayler and remember to stop for a scenic view at Artist Point. On the way back into town keep an eye out for historic aircraft as we pass the Fayetteville Air Museum at Drake Field.

Route 3 - The Buffalo River Drive [175miles]

The Buffalo River drive is a chance to experience the nation’s first National River. The most remote of our drives, this one really gets you out into the Ozark Mtns. The route takes us through Boxley Valley (keep an eye out for Elk) and across Mt. Sherman. A backdrop of multicolored bluffs and pour-offs at Steel Creek will be our photo stop before dropping into an intense downhill section, good brakes are recommended! Before driving across the Ponca bridge and following the river back towards Fayetteville for lunch at Wood Stone Pizza on the patio. Sharp corners, steep descents, and spectacular views are highlights of this drive.

Route 4 - Pig Trail Drive ("OG" Route) [130miles]
